A gentleman’s guide to luxury socks

If you want to become a finely dressed gentleman, the smallest of details must not be overlooked. There’s no use in purchasing a finely tailored suit, a fresh pair of brogues and a fall-proof overcoat if you’re going to skimp on the less visible garments and accessories. Socks are one such item, so for some inspiration, we’ve arranged some of the most beautiful available on the market.
It’s all too easy to overlook socks. At first they may appear to be an insignificant detail but, in fact, they have the potential to make or break an outfit. A subtle stripe or a bolder, brighter hue can add a visual point of interest, breaking up your outfit and lending you the appearance of a gentleman who considers all things, which is certainly no bad thing.
Whilst there are no strict rules on sockwearing, some things should be considered. As always we recommend staying classic, and colours that complement your clothing will always help.
