Yesterday was the second day of the Gentleman’s Journal Grand Tour, our annual trip to the Riviera to take in the grace and grandiose of the Cannes Film Festival. And, while the first day of the trip kept proceedings British — with a day of extraordinary fun on the Goodwood Estate — yesterday we finally jetted off to France.

Richard Biedul, Eric Underwood and Thomas Brodie Sangster were among the guests who, after the previous night’s black tie dinner, found themselves at Farnborough Airfield to board a private jet to the French Riviera.
Sam Way
Along with fellow guests including Sam Way, Luke Pasqualino and Bradley James, they boarded the Bombardier Challenger jet and were opulently swept down to Cannes, before boarding a boat to the stylish city.
And, finally, Gentleman’s Journal and Chopard threw an exclusive private dinner at the infamous Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, with everyone from Brooklyn Beckham and Colin Firth to Chloe Sevigny and Pixie Lott in attendance.
