2014 looks set to be another hit year for Academy Award winning director Martin Scorsese with the release of his new film The Wolf of Wall Street. The drama – which will for the fifth time reunite the Hollywood legend with another, Leonardo Dicaprio (Gangs Of New York, The Aviator, The Departed and Shutter Island) – follows Jordan Belfort, a New York stockbroker who, after years of living an lavish, ostentatious lifestyle, finds his world come crashing down when he’s convicted of fraud and money laundering.
Now, when we use words like flashy and ostentatious, we’re not playing around. The trailer alone features yachts, jaguars, $26,000 meals, champagne and one hell of a Hollywood mansion. Not bad for only 2.32 min of footage.
The Wolf of Wall Street – which has been based on Jordan Belfort’s memoir of the same name – also stars Academy Award nominee Jonah Hill, Matthew McConaughey and relative newcomer Margot Robbie.
