Film – Dallas Buyers Club Trailer

Matthew McConaughey’s latest film, Dallas Buyers Club, sees him star as Ron Woodruff, a Texan electrician, cowboy and gambler who is diagnosed with HIV in the mid-1980s. Given just 30 days to live, he seeks out alternative therapies not available to him in the United States. His quest leads him to Mexico and into the legal hinterland of smuggling unapproved drugs back into Dallas. He seeks help not just for himself but for his fellow patients.,

Directed by Jean-Marc Vallée and also starring Jared Leto and Jennifer Garner, Dallas Buyers Club has plenty of talent on board – but McConaughey is the shining star. In recent years, he has shaken off his rom-com image and taken on some weighty roles, notably in last summer’s Mud and this autumn’s The Wolf Of Wall Street. He’s proven his clout, and Dallas Buyers Club is hotly tipped for Oscars.
