This week at the Geneva Motor Show, Ferrari unveiled their newest Maranello magic, the fastest ever hypercar, the heir to the Enzo has taken first podium place as the fastest road car ever built.
Adding to this endeavour, the hand crafted chassis consisting of four types of carbon fiber (used in the nuclear industry) as well as the cavernous air intakes in the sleek front evoking F50 style allow this Ferrari to boast the highest level of aerodynamic efficiency ever achieved with any road car.
This stunning road legal F1 package, has an inspiring set of features such as a HY-KERS drivetrain system that matches a 790hp produced from 6.3L direct injection V12 spinning to 9250rpm with a 160hp electric motor and a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
The final figures of this limited-series flagship are 949hp and times peaking at 0-62 in less than three seconds, 0-124 in less than seven seconds, and a top speed of 217 mph, all in a car weighing little more than the Enzo at1300kg dry. If there was ever a need for an advanced Brembo braking system…it’s fitted here.
Ferrari have only released that a mere 499 of these truly definitive cars marking a new milestone in automotive evolution will be built, the matching price tag is yet to be announced, whilst we wait, here’s the engine…
