Words: Violet
, Controversy sparked as Facebook makes a $2 billion of Oculus VR, the creators behind the virtual reality headset, Oculus Rift. At a press conference yesterday, Zuckerberg spoke of how he is “getting ready for the platform of tomorrow… Oculus has the chance to create the most social platform ever.” This includes, for example, virtual court-side seats at a sports game, the ability to study in a classroom across the other side of the world and meet a doctor face-to-face (well, virtually of course).
Oculus have described that they will start selling a consumer product later in 2014.
