Curtiss Motorcycle Zeus
‘The All-Electric Hot Rod God,’ reads the Zeus’ description on manufacturer Curtiss Motorcycle’s website. That may seem bold, ostentatious even, but even drop of praise poured on this pioneering clean energy motorbike is justified.
The electric powertrain packs a mighty 170 horsepower, and uses an aluminium chassis — bolted rather than welded for a boxy, industrial feel. But that doesn’t mean it’s not a looker. A sleek seat, chunky tyres and a slick iPad dash-mounted console only serve to up the cool factor further, creating a bike driven straight out of the future.
Turnbull & Asser Swallowtails Red Silk Pocket Square
With summer going surprisingly well in Britain, your nights will soon be swallowed up by slick parties and outdoor soirees. And, with these eventful evenings will some the summeriest and most confusing of dress codes: Cocktail.
But, whilst everyone else is panicking with standout footwear and novelty ties, you should pare things back. Go for a light linen suit, your normal shoes, and just tuck one of Turnbull & Asser’s new, punchily patterned pocket squares into your jacket. Et voilà!

Taschen Surf Photography Coffee Table Book
With summer on its way — and those Dunhill swim shorts from this very list in your shopping basket — what better way to celebrate the sun than on a surfboard? Professional surfer Garrett McNamara, who features in the current issue of Gentleman’s Journal, says that ‘Even when I’m underwater, getting pounded, I love it. I really do,’ and this wonderful coffee table book gives you a chance to tap into this kooky daredevil mindset of surfers the world over.
The images are gathered by LeRoy Grannis, and span the 60s and 70s. Expect station wagons, spectacular wipeouts and fashion that would make the Beach Boys green with envy.

TVR Griffith Launch Edition
All hail the new TVR Griffith, a V8-engined wholly British sports car that, today, is being shown by the marque at the London Motor Show. A rival to the Porsche 911, we love this new model — that has employed advanced aerodynamics to boost performance and advanced design to boost the number of heads it’s bound to turn.
There are 500 Launch Edition models, like the one above, being offered — and you must only lay down a £5000 deposit to secure one for yourself, with the full price sitting at £90,000. That’s more expensive than the 911’s £78,000 starting price, but we reckon the extra is worth it. Do you agree?

22 Design 4th Dimension Clock
Who doesn’t want a concrete clock? It’s brutal, utilitarian design at its very best and we can’t get enough of this clock from 22 Design. It’s the introductory model of the brand’s equally exciting 4th dimension timepieces and uses geometric shapes and scored lines to represent hour markers.
The best part? Surely that red stainless steel hand, adding a pop of colour to the grey concrete. It’s different, and that’s why we’ve added it to our wishlist. We advise you to, as well — before it sells out. But hurry up, the clock’s ticking…
