This week, we’re back in black. All of the products that have caught our collective eyes in the last seven days just so happen to be cast in this coolest of colours — and made more deep, dark and mysterious as a result. So, from a jet-powered surfboard and pair of leather Oxfords, to a BMW painted in the ultra-dark Vantablack, come and join the dark side…

Rum gets a hard time of it. Overlooked thanks to other dark spirits such as whiskies and brandies, it is often left to gather dust in the drinks cabinet. But with such excellent, artisanal bottles as this on offer, we’re not sure why. Perhaps it’s time you expanded your cocktail repertoire with some dark rum recipes — and we can’t think of a better bottle with which to do so than Kraken’s limited edition ceramic offering.
