Editors' Picks: Dior Chiffre Rouge watch, Church's Chelsea boots and Brioni jacket
Words: Zak Maoui
As we move into February, things are getting a little lighter. The mood's lifting. Dry January is over. The weather is sort of picking up, which means your heavy-duty ski gear needn't be used for the walk to work. And most importantly, post-Christmas finances are looking up, as you've had a month of cutting back. And so with all that in mind, it's time to give yourself a treat, and as ever, we're on hand to show you what's good to buy right now.

One for proper aviation nuts, the Khaki Pilot Auto from Hamilton evokes the spirit of exploration and adventure of the brand's signature Khaki. The 36mm is the same as before, but a smaller size answers the trend call for smaller watches. Powered by a H-10 automatic movement with an 80-hour power reserve and Nivachron balance spring, it does all you'd need for a watch both up in the sky and down on the ground.

Dior Chiffre Rouge watch
Dior does watches. It's been a while, sure, but the French maison does them. After nearly a decade Dior had decided to bring back the Chiffre Rouge. Does it want to be a part of the big fashion watch conversation between the likes of Hermès, Louis Vuitton and Fendi? Likely, but Dior's in house design chiefs also know a good thing when they see it. The Chiffre Rouge comes in five different versions, sized at 38mm and 41mm, and each watch features a red crown at four o’clock that has a CDA (Christian Dior) on it with matching rouge hands. The number eight is the only visible number, because it was Dior's lucky number. But this isn't just a fashion watch. This is a fine piece of haute horology. One that we're hoping sticks around. Although each will be limited to between 100 and 300 pieces.
