Gentlemen, start your engines. This week, our Editor’s Picks are shifting gears and pulling up to the starting line with full tanks and throaty engines. There’s the latest Range Rover Sport SVR — bright blue and the fastest model ever developed by the British brand. There’s a new collection of auto-inspired Top Times from Breitling. Back in the saddle: Mercedes-AMG Petronas x nPlusBikes Carbon Road Bike
Inspired by the high-octane, high-flying success of the Mercedes-AMG F1 Team, this limited edition carbon road bike features racing-influenced ‘aero fins’ that reduce disc brake drag. With a hand-upholstered Alcantara saddle and bespoke chassis, only 100 will ever roll off the production line.

What modern man doesn’t love a kitchen gadget? This slick, sophisticated bit of kit combines form with function — allowing steak aficionados to digitally determine when their preferred cut of meat is perfectly cooked. With four probes, the ‘MEATER Block’ also pairs effortlessly to your smartphone.
Perfect timing: Bamford B347 Aqua Blue
Bamford’s latest release, a Swiss-made automatic monopusher chronograph, is a watch of many talents. Behind the dial, you’ll find a Sellita SW510 automatic movement. But the case is the real draw here. Fitted onto a complementary black rubber strap, the 41.5mm black forged carbon fibre design makes for a wrist-mounted head-turner.
Out of the blue: Range Rover Sport SVR Ultimate Edition

Pure and simple: Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool ‘Formaldehyde’ Air Purifier
It may not be the catchiest name, but Dyson’s ‘Formaldehyde’ air purifier does sterling work. Capturing dust, allergens, bacteria — and the harmful chemical that gives it its name — this bronze-finished gadget is voice-controlled, fully-rotatable and has the ability to either heat or cool an entire room in a matter of minutes.
Making waves: Nautor Swan Shadow
The new 13.2-metre Swan Shadow from Nautor was introduced to complement the brand’s existing performance racing yachts. With the ability to reach up to 55 knots and a design that incorporates telescopic roof pillars, moving glass panels and a movable aft platform, it brings ‘chase boat’ and ‘powerboat’ together.
Shifting gears: Breitling Top Time ‘Ford Mustang'
New from Breitling, the Top Time ‘Classic Cars Capsule Collection’ is an alliterative, motor-minded treat. Our choice of the three new editions (a range that also includes ‘Chevrolet Corvette’ and ‘Shelby Cobra’ watches) is this ‘Ford Mustang’; a handsome green-and-brown timepiece inspired by the 1964 automotive icon.
