Is there anything more exciting than a good collaboration? When two titan brands come together, sparks can fly and magic can spin from their mere meeting. This week, we’re celebrating some of the best partnerships out there — from a famed director joining forces with an outerwear icon, an Italian fabric house crafting suits for a British tailor and a Scotch distillery lending its inimitable notes to a home fragrance. Crystal clear: Eight Lands Organic Speyside vodka
You’ve likely heard of spirits from Speyside — that little-known whisky they call Scotch — but this is something a little different. Distilled in the heart of the Glenrinees Estate, in the shadow of Ben Rinnes, Eight Lands Organic Speyside vodka is made using barley and wheat grain, and distilled through pot and column stills for an extra depth of flavour.

Burning love: Tom Daxon Sous Les Glycines candle
There’s something innately calming about a candle. It softens a room, affords an air of bonhomie and turns a house into a finely smelling home. And there’s no better to burn than this octagonal offering from Tom Daxon. Once the wick is lit, expect winding scents of wisteria, fresh leaves and a cloud of honeyed white flowers. Delightful.

Lights, camera, insulation: Barbour Film waxed cotton jacket
This latest collaboration from Barbour sees the South Shields brand team up with local royalty; Sir Ridley Scott. The famed director has helped create a jacket fit for a filmmaker — which features a large A4 pocket big enough for a script, and detailed bird logos designed by Scott himself. What’s more, it’d look as at home on the set of Blade Runner as it would on Black Hawk Down.

Set sail: Baltic 142 Canova
We all love a sailing yacht. Romantic, adventurous and — more often than not — easy on the eyes, they’re the pinnacle of chic exploration. The latest from Baltic 142 to have a bottle smashed across her hull is Canova, who features naval architecture and exterior styling by Farr Yacht Design and an interior by Lucio Micheletti.

Charging around: Mokka Electric Garelli KL50 motorcycle
There’s a gaping hole in the centre of Mokka’s Garelli KL50 — and that’s because it’s missing an engine. Instead, the Budapest-based brand has introduced an electric powertrain, blended modern tech with retro style and created a head-turning vintage style statement. You’ll only have 25 miles of range, but you’ll look good doing it.

Look to the skies: Little Lange 1 Moon Phase
At Gentleman’s Journal, we make no secret of the fact that we love A.Lange & Söhne’s watches. So you can imagine our excitement when the legendary German watchmaker announced their release of the Little Lange 1 Moon Phase – presented on the occasion of the 25th birthday of the original Lange 1.
The Lange 1 and its extraordinary combination of tradition and innovation makes it a prime example of Lange watchmaking artistry. Like all manually wound timepieces of the Lange 1 family, the Little Lange 1 Moon Phase has an off-centre dial with an outsize date and an up/down power-reserve indicator, and the moon-phase display is so precise that it only has to be corrected by one day every 122.6 years. This special edition also features a hand-engraved lunar disc. Six stars and numerous little dots depict the starry sky and together with the golden moons form a three-dimensional canopy. Heaven.
