This is the Icona Vulcano Titanium – the world’s first titanium supercar.
Impeccably designed and meticulously engineered, the Vulcano was first created as a concept model that toured the world – travelling from Shanghai to Paris – in 2013.
Three years on, and the car has been realised, handcrafted from titanium and supercharged with a V8, 6.2 litre engine. A top speed of over 200mph is made possible by its 670 horsepowers, and with a 0 – 100km/h time of 2.8 seconds, you’ll get there in no time at all.
The Vulcano’s shape was designed to be a perfect balance of beauty and refined aerodynamics. Full-LED illumination technology picks out the sleek exterior features and an elegant interior is completely custom-made.
The cockpit contains a 3D driver display cluster and 12-inch TFT touch screen on the central console. With integrated music and media systems, electric seat control and racing mode display, the car adapts to every driving style – with two externally-mounted cameras to help you on your way.
The complete engineering drivetrain and suspension is the work of famous ex-Scuderia Ferrari engineer director Claudio Lombardi along with Mario Cavagnero, head of Italtecnica and father of some of the most famous world champion race cars.
Their combined experience and skill ensure that the Vulcano’s performance is the very best there is, with a Nurburgring Nordschleife capability under 7 minutes and 20 seconds.
But the real star of the show is undoubtedly the streamlined silhouette. With a body that took 10,000 man hours to hand craft, the bold, beautifully-sculpted forms flow between each sharp surface, and help to redefine the gold – or should that be titanium – standard of supercars.
