The Metropolitan Museum of Art Annual Costume Institute Gala is quite possibly the most fashionable night of the year and this year was no exception. Bringing together the crème de la crème of Hollywood’s A-listers and the leaders in the fashion industry to celebrate the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s fashion exhibit, “Charles James: Beyond Fashion.”
Hosted by the legendary Anna Wintour, this year’s theme was “White Tie and Diamonds”, and the stars went all out. Co-hosting this year’s party were Sarah Jessica Parker and Bradley Cooper, and at $25,000 at ticket you know that the guest list was every inch as impressive as the clothes and jewels on display.
Suki Waterhouse, girlfriend of ball co-chair Bradley Cooper looked sensational in a blush pink and cappuccino tulle dress by Burberry, whilst Benedict Cumberbatch showed that the British know how to do white tie better than anyone, in a Ralph Lauren Purple label black tux tailcoat – exactly how white tie should look. With anyone who is anyone attending the iconic party, simply have a look through the pictures to see for yourself quite how incredible and star-studded the night was.
