Last night saw the world of London’s menswear wake up from their December slumbers and really have a go at 2013. London Collections: Men has returned for a second season and proceedings began last night with the 1205 Autumn/Winter 2013 preview party on Harvey Nichols’s 5th floor. The designer behind the label, Paula Gerbase, was joined by the likes of David Gandy (an ambassador for London Collections: Men), Oliver Cheshire, Caroline Issa and a whole host of lucky press, buyers and VIPs. Nicholas Balfe, of newly opened Salon Brixton, brought us a selection of quintessentially British creative treats for which he is making his name such as rarebit, pheasant flavour popcorn and particularly tasty venison sandwiches. Whilst dancing along to The Kindness’s live performance we sipped Gin Fizz and a delicious mix of warm apple and ginger with a serious hit of vodka. It looks like London will be doing 2013 with a serious shot of style., , , , , ,
