Last year, the slopes of Verbier were alive with rumours of the new boy coming to town, in the form of W Hotel Verbier. Last week, these rumours became reality. In preparation for the chains latest opening (which is actually on December 1st), W London kicked off the celebration early with a series of events, taking place from now until the 9th November, being dubbed as the “Verbier Takeover”. This is extravagant, even by Verbier’s standards. The launch bash last week saw Jamie Campbell Bower, Will Poulter, Kimberly Wyatt, Lilah Parsons, William Tempest, Jourdan Dunn andLeah Weller all in attendance. Guests enjoyed Swiss inspired canapés and alpine themed cocktails, such as the Negro-W-Ski and the Ski Breeze. Take us to the slops now.
