Cocktails & Canapes – Breitling Chronomat Airborne Launch Party

Cocktails & Canapes – Breitling Chronomat Airborne Launch Party

Words: Holly

Wednesday night saw yet another fantastic evening hosted by The Gentleman’s Journal (even if we do say so ourselves), this time in association with iconic luxury watch brand, Breitling, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Chronomat and the launch of the Chronomat Airborne.

Held at their Bond Street boutique, a truly memorable evening ensued. With Jacobi Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe from Housekeeping DJ-ing throughout the evening, guests were treated to a choice of Bollinger champagne or cucumber infused martinis. As delicious canapés including mini steak and chips, quails eggs and macaroons circulated the room, the party was in full swing from start to finish.

As actors Dominic Sherwood and BAFTA nominated Luke Newberry posed for the camera, Jemima Cadbury and Arabella Holland were seen jumping into the specially designed photo booth to have their photos taken. As the old saying goes, ‘time flies when you’re having fun’, and last night this was certainly the case. Just in time, Jack Fox managed to rush over from his current production of Dorian Grey to catch the end of the evening.

As always, no one wanted the party to end so fuelled by cocktails and the buzzing atmosphere several guests kept the party going a stones throw away from Breitling, at Browns. Several bottles of Champagne later, actors, RAF pilots and members of both The Gentleman’s Journal and Breitling reluctantly spilled out into taxis home, whilst other members of the event were rumoured to have have ended up on the dancefloor in Annabels.
