Cocktail Of The Week – Bloody Hot Black Cow Martini

With Fashion week just around the corner, and the weekend finally here, what better than a new cocktail to try out with friends this evening…

Selfridges is the home to some of the greatest fashion in London so to celebrate the new Spring 2014 season, Mark Hix has taken his favourite drink – the martini, and given it a colourful catwalk twist for London Fashion Week this February. Shaken or stirred Mark’s Martinis burst with colour. Frivolous and fun, Hix has taken some of his favourite ingredients to create three standout cocktails for fashion followers – Bloody Hot Black Cow Martini, Chocolatini, and, a floral take on the drink to create Scent of a Woman.

Customers at Selfridges will be able to enjoy Mark’s catwalk cocktails at two locations in store; the Hix Restaurant, Champagne & Caviar Bar, and Mark’s Bar – the smallest cocktail bar in London located in the men’s shoe department!

The Bloody Hot Black Cow Martini is a cheeky take on the Bloody Mary; Black Cow Vodka is mixed with strained, chilled tomato juice, pickled chillis and Tabasco sauce and each glass is garnished with sweet Spanish paprika.
