Ways to instantly improve your style for less than £100
Sometimes men take a lazy attitude towards dressing, but a gentleman should not. It’s a large part of a person, the decoration and covering of one’s body; something you choose and can make very personal. Take time to consider what you wear, develop a style, and yes – others really do notice. Stop complaining that you don’t know where to start, that it’s too expensive, or that things don’t suit you. Truthfully, trends develop because the majority can pull them off and fortunately, there are plenty of basics that you must get right and anyone can master the tricks.
T Shirts
Get rid of those preppy Ralph Lauren polo tops and rugby shirts. It is time for a casual and cool plain crew necked t shirt. A loose fit, with short sleeves a few inches above the elbow and minimal logo’s, you just cannot go wrong.

A good pair of jeans
Slightly more tricky, I must admit. We all have different shaped legs, prefer different denim washes. Finding the right pair can be tedious, we know. Our advice to you all is slim fit; skinny jeans – and by that I mean a skin tight – on men look cheap and unattractive. Slim fit jeans are those beauties that stand somewhere between fitted and loose enough that your pouch does not bulge. They are smart, stylish and inexpensive. Oversized trousers are a sin and you are always better off going for a more fitted look…

A strong hat
A beanie or a fedora; a man in a hat looks fashion conscious. It is a great accessory for the autumn months too. Cheap as chips when you know where to find them…

Drake’s, Mr Porter, £45
Watches
Every gent needs a time piece to coordinate his life and they add instant detail to an outfit. Again, there are some great, inexpensive choices.

Kahuna, ASOS, £50
Shoes
A good pair of trainers to relax in at weekends are a must and then some smarter work shoes, too. All of these can be found at inexpensive prices…

Samuel Windsor, £45
A coat
Vital with the changing weather, this garment is essential. It will compliment and complete any look this season.

Coat, ASOS, £90
