For many bike fans, Ducati represent the pinnacle of design, performance and presence on the road. Their rich history and Italian flair make their motorcycles particularly iconic and when it comes to desirability there really isn’t much that can compete. Similar to Ferrari and other big-name supercar brands, Ducati is more than just a manufacturer. Hardcore fans would argue that Ducati is a lifestyle and the Italian brand’s numerous memorabilia and merchandise would certainly attest to that.
Ducati’s Monster line of bikes was innovative when it first launched in 1993, and it continues to push the boundaries today. A new mid-level version, the 821, has just been announced and it encompasses everything Ducati envisioned for the Monster; usability, lightweight construction and impressive performance. Certainly, with its 112bhp engine and feather-light 180kg body, it will move with the best of them. Ducatis have never been just about straight-line speed though and with its state-of-the-art suspension and thick rubber tyres, it will handle like a dream too. Available in a stealthy all-black or classic Ducati rosso finish, the Monster 821 will arrive in July, so get your orders in now.
