Disposable cigarettes are gateway e-cigarettes as they look like real ciggies, are freely available and are disposed of (rather than recharged) when they run out. They tend to have a limited flavour spectrum – RED Disposables come in tobacco and menthol flavours and come highly recommended.

The Halo Mini is another great starter e-cig but this one isn’t disposable. You can recharge it and you can order new cartridges to attach to the battery. Again the flavour spectrum is limited and comes in tobacco or menthol flavour. Expect the quality of the hit and the vapour to be slightly improved from the disposable e-cigs – though if you’re really serious about getting into vaping you need a personalised vaporiser.

JAC 510 MANUEL
The JAC 510 is an ‘ego’ e-cigarette. Ego e-cigarettes are popular because you can fill them with e-liquids of any flavour, you can charge them and yet they are very simple to use. Unlike personalised vaporisers their voltage and wattage can’t be altered and, apart from changing the tank and adding different e-liquids, there’s not much tinkering you can do. Having said all this, they’re simple to use and will give you a pretty complete e-cig experience – the JAC 510 is one of the best egos around.
