The best-dressed men at Cannes Film Festival 2025

From Leonardo Dicaprio and Tom Cruise to Anson Boon and Tramell Tillman

Words: Zak Maoui

Held down at La Croisette de Cannes, since 1946 the Cannes Film festival has been the place to be seen, with the likes of King Charles, Austin Butler, Adam Driver, Timothée Chalamet and Leonardo Dicaprio showing off their style.

Sure, year on year some guests adhere to the famously strict dress code (mandatory black tie jackets and ties for men on the red carpet) and some just…don't. And that's what makes Cannes so exciting. The clothes, arguably, steal the limelight away from the big films, which is actually, in case you forgot, why everyone is there in the first place.

And this year it's promising to be just as big, with big names such as Tom Cruise Jeremy Strong and Harris Dickinson promising to don their very best...

Jeremy Strong

The former Succession actor was one of the first guys to wear a Peter Copping-designed custom Lanvin look on the red carpet.

ASAP Rocky

Dressed in Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello, Rocky made quite the impression at the premiere of his debut film Highest 2 Lowest.

Adrien Brody

The actor wore a slick black shawl collared tuxedo and a pair of Santoni Oxford shoes.

Tahar Rahim

Tahar Rahim's Alpha premiere received a standing ovation, and we're giving him one for that deep red three-piece Louis Vuitton suit.

Harris Dickinson

For the premiere of his directorial debut, Urchin, Dickinson wore a custom suit that was an interpretation of an archival Autumn/Winter 2026 look.

Sope Dirisu

Actor Sope Dirisu wore a Louis Vuitton double-breasted suit akin to those worn by the actors who ruled carpet during the early years of the film festival.

Austin Butler

Butler went classic in Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello for the premiere of Eddington.

Alexander Skarsgård

Never one to shy away from being a little kooky, Alexander Skarsgård went for a more daring, left-field look, comprising a traditional tuxedo and a pair of thigh-high black leather boots.

Robert Pattinson

The Cannes photocalls always allow for a more relaxed vibe and Pattinson looks his laid-back in a suede Dior jacket and Converse kicks.

Théo Christine

Dressed in Louis Vuitton, Théo Christine proves that a classic tuxedo is never a bad idea.

Akinola Davies Jr

Arriving to Cannes for the film festival is just as important and the guys have been throwing on their looks. Filmmaker Akinola Davies Jr rocked a full Loewe fit for his arrival.

Pedro Pascal

A neck tie with a tux? You bet Pedro Pascal will do that.

Jeremy Strong

Wearing custom Loro Piana and a Richard Mille timepiece, Jeremy Strong brought his eccentric style to Cannes.

Tom Cruise

Attending the Mission Impossible - The Final Reckoning red carpet, Cruise stuck to what he knows best: slick black tie.

Simon Pegg

Pegg wore a Paul & Joe tuxedo for the Mission Impossible screening, which he adorned with Piccadilly Vaults diamond brooches. “This suit has got this amazing sort of white piping on it,” he told us before the red carpet. “I've accessorised it with the amazing diamond brooches, and this big old 70s floppy black bow tie.”

Tramell Tillman

No one in recent memory has looked this cool on La Croisette de Cannes, to be quite honest.

Anson Boon

Mobland star Anson Boon opted for a classic Celine tuxedo because he wanted a French brand for a "whirlwind" Cannes debut, he told us.

Leonardo Dicaprio

A red carpet veteran with a penchant for black tie, Cannes belongs to Dicaprio.
