The Land Rover Defender is an icon, a true establishment of British style and an automotive legend, dreamt up by brothers Maurine and Spencer Wilks on the shores of Anglesey 70 years ago. Last year marked the end of an incredible era, and the production of these beauties was stopped to make way for newer models and to retain the cars status as a timeless legend. Here, we look back on 70 years of this incredible feat of engineering and a car that will never go out of style.
