6 Apps You Must Download this Week
Words: Violet
As ever there are innumerable great apps to help the modern man get through the daily grind. Here are 6 apps from the world of men’s lifestyle, grooming and sport we think you’ll enjoy.
SnoreLab – £1.49 on iOS only

Most men have faced criticism from their wives or girlfriends for snoring but, frustratingly, they have never been able to prove it – until now. SnoreLab records your snoring during the night and then suggests a variety of helpful remedies and solutions.
Team Stream HD – Free on iOS, Android and Blackberry

Bleacher Report’s Team Stream is the ultimate way to get news from the world of sport. You add your favourite teams or sports to the stream and the news comes flooding into your phone or tablet as it happens.
Hitman GO – £2.99 on iOS only

Had a gruelling day in the office? Unleash your inner psychopath on the tube home by playing Hitman GO. Fans of the original game will be a bit bemused that the bald nut-job you play as now looks like a subbuteo piece that has escaped from the sanatorium. But still, this looks like great fun.
Duolingo – Free on iOS and Android

There are a variety of language learning apps available but the majority are very expensive. To reach fluency with apps such as Babbel or Rosetta Stone requires a financial commitment of hundreds of pounds. Duolingo is completely free and just as good as the other ones. Currently only the romance languages are available to learn – but with others to follow.
Pele: King of Football – Free on iOS and Android

Until a decent app gets released for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, this game will have to sustain us. In Pele: King of Football you guide a Pele-esque avatar from humble origins, playing street football in the favelas, to the biggest stages in world football.
Yahoo Finance – Free on IOS

This app, released only yesterday, is perfect for savvy investors who keep a close eye on stocks and shares. Avalible for iPhone and iPad, this app allows its user to access latest financial news, stock prices and currency movements of the companies you care about the most.
