A gentleman is respectful not only his loved ones, but even to those whom he is yet to meet. He treats everyone the way he wants to be treated, and doesn’t place himself above even the rudest of men.
2. THEY HOLD THEIR WORD
If a gentleman says he’s going to do something, he does it. Even if he doesn’t feel like it or his views have since changed, if a gentleman agrees to something, he always follows through.
3. THEIR MANNERS ARE IMPECCABLE
Manners maketh the man, and a gentleman knows this. Whilst many men have a facade of being polite, the manners of a gentleman are always on point.
4. THEY TAKE PRIDE IN THEIR APPEARANCE
Whilst a gentleman doesn’t always have to be dressed to the nines, he recognises that one’s appearance can influence others around him, therefore he always takes pride in how he comes across, whilst of course remaining highly approachable.
5. THEY ALWAYS MAINTAIN SELF CONTROL
When alcohol comes into the equation, many men loose their inhibitions and therefore their self control. A gentleman recognises that a drink or two may have an affect on oneself, so he counteracts this with charm, wit and intelligence.
