For one of the smallest countries in the world it’s fair to say that Monaco punches above its weight. Obviously there is the Monaco GP in the Spring, however it’s during September when the worlds elite arrive in Monaco. Not to have dinner at the famous Hotel de Paris, but to purchase the ultimate status symbol, a Superyacht. We are of course talking about the annual Monaco Yacht Show, a must in the Seasons calendar for any self-respecting billionaire.
This year was a bumper year with 33,000 individuals attending the show and over 100 of the worlds most glamorous yachts for sale and charter. Below our a few of favourites, from the assuredly named 147ft “My Trust Fund” to Lurssen’s 280ft “Solandge”.
