5 Exercises to Improve Your Sex Life

Looking to spice things up in the bedroom? According to experts, then its time to start sweating for another reason; down the gym. Exercising three to four times a week will do wonders for your sexual athleticism, improving your endurance, flexibility and strengthening your core for better technique. It also boosts your mood, increases testosterone and improves your general heath. So what are you waiting for, gents? Complete 15-20 reps of one of the suggested exercises from each strength category (upper body, abdominals and lower body) and then repeat the entire set with 30 seconds rest in between.

1. UPPER BODY, When it comes to improving your sex life stamina, weight lifting and body strength training is key. One of the best exercises is push ups which focuses on the arms, shoulders and core muscles. For a more advanced alternative, try swiss ball push ups (place shins on a swiss ball and complete the press up).

2. ABDOMINALS, A critical area to work on when it comes to improving your overall stability and technique in the bedroom. Crunches, bridges and kneeling leg crossovers (get onto all fours, straighten your left leg at a 45 degree angle and raise it slightly off the floor, then proceed to move the leg over the right, keeping it straight – reverse and repeat on right leg) are all great for strengthening your mid-section.

3. LOWER BODY, Improving your leg strength improves your sexual prowess, no end, while lower body exercises which focus on improving your range of movement at the hip won’t go a miss in the bedroom. For strength, go for dead lifts which focus on legs and torso. Another key exercise is the hinge bow (kneel with your knees at 90 degrees, keep your back straight and, in a controlled motion, lean back and hold for 3 seconds. This is one rep).

4. SWIMMING, One of the best exercises for full body fitness, regular swimming is great for increasing endurance and core strength.

5. YOGA, When it comes to increasing your flexibility and stamina, one of the best exercises is yoga. Improve your ability to complete the strong, controlled movements and poses and you are guaranteed to see all your hard work pay off. She will thank you for this one – trust us.
