The Golden Globes happened this week and as ever the 2025 brought out some of the biggest actors in the game. And with them, they brought their very nice watches. From Dwayne Johnson's IWC Schaffhausen Portuguiser Eternal Calendar to Daniel Craig's Omega 42mm Sedna Gold Speedmaster, the stars took their wrist gear to the next level.
Below are the kettles that we had our eyes on...
Dwayne Johnson and IWC Schaffhausen
The Rock was at the Globes as his film Moana 2 was nominated. And he made an impression in lilac, and with his wrist gear: the IWC Schaffhausen Portuguiser Eternal Calendar. The Eternal Calendar is built in 44.4mm platinum and carries a perpetual calendar that takes leap years into account for 400 years and has a Moonphase display of accuracy of up to 45 million years.
Daniel Craig and Omega
Craig loves an Omega and he's been pretty loyal to the brand in all his active years in the spotlight. The Globes were no different and he wore an Omega 42mm Sedna Gold Speedmaster on a leather strap, which was a real dazzler when paired up with that Giorgio Armani suit. Inspired by the 4th generation Speedmaster style worn on the moon, the Speedmaster Moonwatch is one of Omega’s most iconic timepieces.
Elton John and Rolex
While he's famed for his music and he's currently got his very nice collection of art on show at the V&A, Elton John is also an avid watch collector. He's got them all - Audemars Piguet Royal Oaks, Cartier Crash designs and skull-decorated Chopards - but last night's Rolex Daytona was a real winner. The presenter at the Gloves rocked a bedazzled white gold Rolex Daytona Cosmograph, which features the Swiss watchmaker's calibre 4131 self-winding movement. The bad news? It was discontinued last year.
Andrew Garfield and Jaeger-LeCoultre
Rocking full forest green Gucci, Andrew Garfield needed a classic watch to not take too much away from his tailoring. For that he went for Jaeger-LeCoultre's ultra thin Reverso Tribute Monoface Small Seconds, which comes in a minimalist-favourite black and gold colourway, and features 18-carat pink gold detailing and a striking black sunray-brushed dial. A neat choice.
Jeff Goldblum and Vacheron Constantin
The Wicked star opted for a magical Vacheron Constantin Traditionelle Moonphase, which dazzled in the bright lights. The 18-carat white gold timepiece comes with a snow-set dial depicting a star-studded sky and an open-worked caseback, while the poetic complication only needs adjusting every 122 years. A timepiece worthy of the wizardry in the film he was promoting.
Ke Huy Quan and Jaeger-LeCoultre
Ke Huy Quan opted for a Reverso Tribute Duoface Tourbillon to pair with a Thom Browne tux, and the smart choice had him standout as one of the best-dressed guys at the Globes. Capturing the spirit of the early 1930s models, the pared-down aesthetic and signature details of the Reverso's dial exude refinement, but it's still a bold enough watch to win the red carpet.
Colman Domingo and Omega
Clad in Valentino, Colman Domingo decided to go for a tiny 28mm Omega Constellation, switching out his usual Cartier. It is characterised by its famous case with half-moon facets, and the polished claws that grip to the sides. It is crafted from stainless steel and 18-carat Moonshine Gold, while an eye-catching PVD green dial has been given a distinctive and unique Supernova pattern through electrochemical etching.
