Give a big warm welcome to the new Porsche 911 GT3, the king of all Porsches and favourite of the Hedge Fund manager.
The 911 has always been known for mixing race track performance with modern everyday comforts. This, the seventh generation 911 does not disappoint, and although the engine is the same size as the 911 Carrera S, don’t let that put you off. Those clever German’s have promised to deliver more horsepower, 475hp to be exact, producing a 0-60 of just 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 195 mph. The engine is a 3.8L six-cylinder boxer engine that has been paired with a dual-clutch PDK transmission.
As you would expect with Porsche, they haven’t gone overboard with the styling, but they have introduced unique front and rear fascias, a large fixed wing and 20-inch wheels. All of which work together with the new active rear-wheel steering system to improve handling.
Expect to see these frequenting the Mayfair race track soon. £100k (approx) porsche.com.,
