As we honour a very significant remembrance day on 11th November 2014, 100 years after World War One began, it should be noted that photographers have risked their lives to chronicle wars and report from conflict zones. These astonishing photographs capture a show war from various perspectives and, despite the carnage, often find a semblance of beauty within the disturbing subject.
