Every company has one – a unique emblem to promote instant public recognition – but some are more complex than others. Here, we take a look at 10 logos that, on second glance, offer up more than first appears.

Answers…

1. The Tour de France contains the hidden image of a cyclist, which can be seen through the letters O, U and R, with the yellow circle acting as the front wheel of the bicycle.

2. The white space between the E and X forms a perfect arrow, suggesting a company moving forward and looking ahead.

3. It needs a double take, but on either side of the tree, the faces of a gorilla and lion appear in white.

4. A simple yet effective message, with the arrow representing that Amazon sell everything from a to z.

5. This logo not only spells out LSO, but also looks like a conductor leading the orchestra…

6. The BR in the Baskin Robbins logo is made of two colours. When you focus on just the pink portion, the number 31 appears, denoting the number of flavours Baskin Robbins offers.

7. The NBC logo depicts a peacock in white, with the colourful feathers representing each division of NBC.

8. At first, it looks like a golfer who has just completed a drive, but look again and the helmet of a Spartan warrior appears…

9. Just a simple map of Africa? Take a closer look and you’ll see an adult and child facing each other.

10. The Toblerone logo contains the image of a bear hidden in the Matterhorn Mountain, which is where Toblerone originally came from.
