Netflix just keeps getting better. Later this year, films starring Dustin Hoffman and Will Smith are coming to the streaming service, released across Netflix rather than in cinemas. Mixing originals alongside existing titles, the platform is now an unparalleled wealth of entertainment – and this is what to expect this September…
The story continues after the death of Pablo Escobar and shows the fight of DEA against the Cali Cartel. Expect action moving to New York, as well as back in Colombia as Pedro Pascal returns – all guns blazing – as DEA agent Javier Pena.
Everyone loves a boxing drama, and Ben Younger’s Bleed for This is one of the best of recent years. Starring Miles Teller, it tells the story of former world champion boxer Vinny Pazienza, now known as Vinny Paz as he fights to get back into the ring after a car accident.
Set roughly a decade before the events of the original Star Trek series, separate from the timeline of the concurrent feature films, Discovery will explore the Federation-Klingon cold war while following the crew of the USS Discovery.
Presented by the comedian and his father, this new road trip comedy series sees the the pair travel to South East Asia on a popular “gap year route”, and will involve them travelling through countries such as Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia.

Quentin Tarantino’s two-part martial arts film series was a hit when released, and is bound to see a resurgence in popularity once it hits Netflix. The cult classics follow a character initially identified as “The Bride,” a former assassin seeking revenge on her ex-colleagues who massacred members of her wedding party and tried to kill her.
