, The thinnest and lightest MacBook ever is now available in gold, but it also features a new trackpad, a single USB-C port and brand new design.

3. The HBO network will be added to Apple TV

This is a massive pull for Apple, as the likes of Games of Thrones will be available to view from the streaming service.

4. Solar Plane completes first leg

Solar Impulse are attempting the first-ever round-the-world solar flight. They have just completed their second leg from Oman to India.

5. Apple is joining the Dow

9. Google has released its first large Android update since November

, Lollipop OS has been released, with an innovative new feature called Device Protection that locks down your phone preventing crime.

10. Apple’s new larger iPad may come with a USB port

This will likely please a lot of people, but it goes against Apple’s forward-thinking mindset. USB is a dated technology after all.
