007’s drinks: be more Bond at the bar

Words: Gentleman's Journal

So, Bond’s back. Of course. Craig’s face is plastered on every billboard in the country; every magazine cover is sporting one of the leading stars; and the frenzy surrounding the franchise seems to be crazier than ever before. Even my mum is thinking about seeing it, and she shields her eyes at any hint of violence, be it a Notebook break-up slap or a full blown Tarantino bloodbath.

We all want to be a little more Bond. I sure as hell do. Scantily-clad women, fast cars, boundless charisma, and the ability to dodge bullets as if in the Matrix. Sounds dreamy. But it’s no easy task and it’s not going to happen overnight. So we have to attempt it in bitesize chunks, mastering the corners of the puzzle before moving into the complex centre. I’m starting with the drinks, because I feel the research will be entertaining. So, follow my lead gents, and let’s be more Bond at the bar…
